Who We Are
Sarah Jo Skinner
Director
Texan by birth, I have lived all over the Lone Star State! A proud product of Richardson ISD, I graduated with a BA in Theology from St. Edwards University. I also have a Masters in Theological Studies from SMU and a Masters in Library and Information Sciences from Texas Women's University. I have spent my career serving as an educator in both school and church settings. I am blessed to have served at Epiphany for the last two decades and am both honored and delighted to be entrusted with the gift of The Epiphany School.

Kristin Mokry
School Administrator
Born in North Texas, I grew up in the Metroplex. I have lived in Bryan College Station, Austin, San Antonio and have been in Plano for ten years. I obtained a BA in Psychology from Texas A&M and a Masters in Counseling from UTSA. I have been married to BJ for more than 18 years and we have 5 children together.
Hobbies: Reading, gardening and Moms Night Out
Kennedy Scott
Lead Teacher
I am from Austin, Texas and moved to East Texas in 2010. I went to Sam Houston State University where I graduated during the pandemic. I have been working in preschools for five years and have been a lead teacher for three years!
Hobbies: Writing and reading books, painting, sculpting and charcoal art
Kimberly Rivera
Teacher
I was born in Albuquerque, NM and moved to Texas at age 10 and have been in Richardson since. I am certified to teach Early Childhood - 12th grade Special Education and am currently finishing my Student Teaching requirement for Bachelors degree.
Hobbies: Reading, puzzles, arts and crafts and spending time with my family

Bushra Hossain

I was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh and have lived in Dallas for 19 years. I have an Associates Degree from the University of Dhaka. I have been working with children since 2016! I am also married and have a daughter.
Hobbies: Cooking, sewing and taking care of children
Veena John
Teacher
I am originally from India where I taught for 10 years at the St Joseph Convent School. In 1997, my husband, daughter and I moved to Garland, Texas. I am a trained Kindergarten teacher with a Child Development Associate Credential from Brookhaven College. In total, I have worked with children for 30 years. My passion is to lead every child in a positive and compassionate way.
Hobbies: Gardening, Cooking Indian food
Itzel Carmona-Lopez
Teacher
I am from El Paso, Texas and moved to Richardson in 2021. I attended University of Texas at Dallas where I graduated with a degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. I am currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology at UTD. I have been working with children for six years as a nanny, an after school and daycare teacher. My parents and two siblings reside in El Paso.

I have lived all over Texas and currently reside in Richardson with my husband and son. I have been working with children since 2010 and have loved it every day!

Seher Pishnamaz

I was born in Bangladesh and moved to Texas 2016 with my parents and younger sibling. I am planning on pursuing a degree in child psychology and enjoy opportunities to work with young children, getting insight into their behaviors and seeing how incredibly smart and sensitive they can be.

I grew up in Dallas and attended the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia where I earned a BFA in Interior Design. I have lived in Richardson for 24 years with my husband. We have twin sons who just left for college at the University of New Mexico.
